John Lennon’s Son Denounces Political Correctness, Says Leftist Intellectuals Have Become Pathetic

The son of the famed Beatles member John Lennon has publicly made it clear that political correctness has destroyed the left he once knew and respected.

Sean Ono-Lennon took to Twitter on Friday and tweeted out a message that stirred controversy within the left.

“When I was young the most interesting people were left-wing intellectuals. Believe it or not,” tweeted Lennon.

The son of their hippy commie god who was worth $800 million when he died and owned numerous homes and yet spoke about NO POSSESSIONS, sees the error in their pathetic ways. Their pathetic socialist ways that fails every country.

Criticism of the left is not necessarily an endorsement of the right. They have their own problems. The article in question takes two short tweets and turns them into several paragraphs of standard right-wing bitching that probably do not reflect Lennon's views.

The Left is actually losing the culture because of extreme political correctness.

The first sign for me was the prevalence of "snowflake".

Not even close to true. What the right calls "political correctness", is what my mother called "good manners". Don't call people names. Show the same respect and consideration for people who aren't like you, as you do for those who are just like you.

I'm sitting here smiling at the idea of telling someone who claims that she is a Christian to "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", because that is the essence of political correctness. Good manner's and doing what Jesus told you to do.

It's just a bridge too far for conservatives. Especially "Christian" conservatives.

I flew corporate for 15 years. I flew "old money" from their summer houses to their winter houses to their vacation houses. These were people who had never worked in their lives and never would. They couldn't cook or clean for themselves. Pampered children. Not an original thought in their heads. I often overheard them spouting liberal talking points. How the capitalist elite were screwing over the common man. Yet, when we landed, up rolled the SUVs to unload the mountain of bags they travelled with. Treated the linemen, limo drivers and FBO folks like dogs. Shallow empty shells of people. Never once did I envy their lifestyle or wealth.

You're joking, right? Political Correctness is fascism. It is the forced "Newspeak" from the novel 1984. Imagine you can't use proper pronouns to converse with someone. How about checking your White Privilege at the door? Disagree with the LGBT agenda? Can't be tolerated.

That confirms the things I've heard from other corporate pilots. THEY are even treated poorly by these dirtbags. Like they are the chauffer. "Boy, get my bags into the limo NOW!

I just fly a bugsmasher, (GA) so fortunately don't have to deal with these types often unless they roll up to an FBO when I'm paying for my gas.

Yes, that is exactly what they are and OLD MONEY are nearly always socialists. They are all like hollywood's kids.

For them it is ALL ABOUT inheritance, privilege, blood lines, or royalty of some kind.

They are deeply offended by the notion that anyone from the serf class could ever even think they could have the OPPORTUNITY to be among their status.

Therefore, it is the OPPORTUNITY that offends them and that is THE ONE GLARING thing that those who are RISKING THEIR LIVES to get here want, that they do not have in their socialist paradises.

He says they're offended by "comedy and science" but it's much worse than that. They're offended by people who live differently than they do, think differently than they do and make different choices than they do and must hunt them down in cake and florist shops and Make Them Conform.

They name call and melt down when you disagree. They are almost to a man and women incapable of making rational arguments but argue with childish petty feelings or completely irrational hyperbole.
