Also, a 2020 report from the DEA declared that China is "the primary source of fentanyl and fentanyl-related substances trafficked through international mail and express consignment operations environment, as well as the main source for all fentanyl-related substances trafficked into the United States." "

I guess all that Chinese money the Biden family received over the years they did not pay taxes on is finally paying dividends to China as Biden keeps the Fentanyl drug border wide open.

Prohibition was just a scam by Progressives to increase taxation

Let me splain

Before the Federal Income Tax amendment was placed in the Constitution, SCOTUS has ruled a Federal income tax unconstitutional decades prior, so Progressives then realized they simply needed to add it.

But how?

They teamed up with Evangelicals who saw the ravages of alcoholism on the country, worse than it is now. So they told Evangelicals they would team up with them to pass Prohibition, but the problem was, the Federal government depended on taxes from alcohol sales to fund the Federal government. So to fix this, they had Evangelicals promise to vote with them on the Federal Income tax with them, so they would then vote for Prohibition with the Evangelicals.

Shrug, it worked. But once they passed both Prohibition and the Federal Income tax amendments, Progressives no longer had a use for Prohibition, especially since the Federal government was getting money from alcohol sales. So they simply let Prohibtion fail, making a half hearted attempt to enforce it. They even had bootleggers come to the Capital to sell the illegal booze directly to the Congressmen who voted to end the sales of it.

So when Prohibition failed, Progressives not only had the new Federal Income tax, but they resumed the tax on alcohol, thus doubling their tax revenue.
