Sure he did. When the ACA passed the trust fund was on track for depletion by 2016. And yet here we are in 2024, with Medicare beneficiaries getting better care, with more benefits, and at the same real per beneficiary costs as they did a decade and a half ago.

Huge success story. It'll be even better if we stop overpaying Medicare Advantage insurers.
