Here's a direct quote from one of the rulings that was affirmed by the Supreme Court today.

“We are not aware of any other case in which a state legislature — faced with a federal court order declaring that its electoral plan unlawfully dilutes minority votes and requiring a plan that provides an additional opportunity district — responded with a plan that the state concedes does not provide that district," one of the court rulings said.

It says it right there. The ruling required them to create another opportunity district for Black voters. You silly little bitch.

How on earth you would think that means they ordered the to draw a "black district" which in and of itself would violate the law, or how on earth you thought the State was arguing that they violated the law themselves, is freaking beyond stupid.
