Manufacturing jobs declined by 7%.....I guess they need to learn to empty bedpans or make beds for half the wage.

The 7% loss of manufacturing jobs is very significant because that is where the middle class springs from.....Not the hospitality sector.
 
So, I wonder what today's report will be revised down to three months from now?

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics revised down its estimate of total employment in March 2024 by 818,000, the largest such downgrade in 15 years. That effectively means there were 818,000 fewer job gains than first believed from April 2023 through March 2024.

How the blue **** did they miss by that much, and who is to say they did not miss the mark by that much today?

Exactly. The number will be revised waaaay down after the election...
