Republican governed states continue to petition to secede from the Union. Have been doing it since the end of the US civil war.

Most Jews in the US voting Republican would like most Jews in Israel voting for a one state solution.

I know there are those that do; but I honestly don’t understand the “ rationale” of any Jewish person wanting a “ One State “ Solution

It is their personality. It sees the world in a certain way and works towards achieving it. Sources, situation, fear, ambitions, etc. They all add up to creating a different world.

BLUF: No person living today can experience what life of the people was like 3 centuries ago let alone 3.5 millennia ago. OH sure, we can approximate and build a simulation of the physical time period; but that is a far cry from having the mentality of the time. In that time period, probably more than half of us would be slaves, the remainder would be slave owners, with a small portion of those being aristocrats of some level; and still yet - some tiny portion of them being equivalent to the chevalier, nobility or royalty (תמלוגים • الملوك).

We would be in culture shock. Social mores we naturally have assimulated would be an alien concept. The entirety of civil and religious rights would be nonexistent. Slaves are property. Even 2500 years ago, people like Hypatia of Alexandria were ahead of their time and murdered for the teaching. And even those women like Emilie du Chatelet (300 years ago) had to be very careful of the intellectual capacity they had. And about 150 years ago, Marie Curie (a two-time Nobel Laureate 1903/1911) was the only woman invited to the prestigious Solvay Conferences. It was only 100 years ago when women were permitted to vote.

What we think of as the "utter worst of humanity" was not (from their perspective). They had different standards of justice and integrity.
