Maybe research the characteristics of living things and then come up with a new list of criteria that allows you to dehumanize them so you can see yourself as moral.

The dehumanization of nonbelievers who are not members of the Republican Party tribe, comes out of the AUTHORITARIAN, tribal MAGA white evangelical Christian playbook.

as a rational theist I can honestly assess my own moral life in the context of America’s civil religion. I’m not sure you know what that is but according to our first president George Washington, I’m a pretty damn good American son, father grandfather, and contributing citizen. worked for everything I have and now comfortably retired with a beautiful wife and loving family.

Can’t say that I’ve never broken a law cause there was one time on an interstate in Tennessee just west of Knoxville when I wanted to see how far over 120mph my new motorcycle would go.

it did well over and I had some throttle left. when I slowed down around 80 mph cruise speed a red BMW convertible with New York plates and two young women with blonde hair blowing in the wind passed me like I was standing still. I watched them disappear into the morning western horizon, and finished my trip to Nashville from DC. with a higher power on my shoulder every mile.

No big deal actually just a 20 minute experience on a seven hour mostly mundane ride

No more no less.

if George Washington came back I’m sure he would’ve done the same 105 hp ride on two wheels total weight 700 pounds including rider behind a good fairing and windshield violation of the law.

That's why He came--and died. If we could do it without Him, He wouldn't have had to die.

Yes, there is a great deal of disagreement on much of the interpretation of the Bible and many other Christian teachings therein. So how is it that Christians can come to a unity of the faith and agreement in doctrine and interpretation? Can this be done or will it take the second coming of Christ to settle all these disputes? I believe some Christians church are merely existing so that the leaders of their churches can get gain through donations. Some exist because they can control others. Some are led down the wrong path due to misinterpretation of scripture and so forth and so on. How can we all come to a unity of what is being taught in each verse? Jesus called and ordained ministers of the gospel while he was on earth. Today many take on this authority without being called and ordained. I think God would love for us all to come to a unity of faith and put off all the differences. But is this possible or do we lack the humility to come to agreement of the verses of the Bible and what Jesus really wants from us?

ours is a spoken religion - the heavenly religion of antiquity - the triumph of good vs evil - a goal set by the heavens for a&e to accomplish for them to have judgement necessary for the admission to the everlasting.
