I think they’re going to sell the team. I would not be surprised if we start hearing rumblings that Jerry Jones is going after hedge funds in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, trying to find the suitor to give him the largest check ever given to the owner of a North American sports franchise.
Fondomont's parent company, Saudi food giant Almarai, purchased another 10,000 acres of farmland about 50 miles away in Vicksburg, Arizona, for around $48 million
Fondomonte California on Sunday announced that it bought 1,790 acres of farmland in Blythe, California — an agricultural town along the Colorado River — for nearly $32 million
Executive Summary As Congress debates its economic and national security policy posture toward China, there has been increased scrutiny of Chinese ownership of U.S. agricultural land. While several recent studies point to an increase in Chinese-owned agricultural land, much of the conversation...

What Saudi Arabia owns doesn't even register. From what I've been able to find, they own less than 20,000 acres, though I could be wrong. Between their holdings in Blythe, California and Vicksburg, Arizona they own a confirmed 11,790 acres (this from a 2016 article).
The Middle Eastern kingdom needs hay for its 170,000 cows. So, it's buying up farmland for the water-chugging crop in the drought-stricken American Southwest.
Now, I'm no fan of foreign entities owning U.S. land, especially agricultural land, but one should at least have the facts before they start complaining. Shit, Ireland owns 759,732 acres. Considerably more than Saudi Arabia... if I've done my math right...

China currently holds 384,000 acres of land in the U.S., which is around 1% of all foreign-held acres. The total holdings for Saudi Arabian investors is about 36,000 acres.

Off the wall speculation isn't exactly fake news. Saying "I think" isn't a statement of fact but rather a expression of one's opinion. "I wouldn't be surprised. . ." is just a figure of speech. I have heard and read of rumors that Jones may be interested in a buyer for the team and I'm pretty sure, if he does sell, it will be to the highest bidder. Fair or unfair, he doesn't have a reputation for being a man of high principles and ethics.

1. Jerry enjoys playing with the Cowboys like a fantasy football team to sell unless he has some extremely good reason to. He loves these Ceedee Lamb, Dak Prescott contract situations which give him all sorts of media attention.
2. I highly doubt the NFL would approve a sale to an individual or group that is not mostly or completely North America based.
