Well, we have leaders, current POTUS, that have called for death of Political Leader, so I guess both sides do it and both sides support it.

On Oct 31, 2024, in an onstage interview with Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump said words to the effect that Liz Cheney should “see how it feels” to have rifles trained on her or be put “in front of a firing squad,” comments many outlets reported as a call for violence and which prompted an Arizona prosecutor to examine whether the remarks violated state law.
Trump: “I don’t blame Dick Cheney for sticking with his daughter — but his daughter is a very dumb individual, very dumb. She’s a radical war hawk. Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay? Let’s see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face.”

How’s that a call to violence? A lot of folks that are so willing to vote to send some one else’s kids off to war should really learn to step in their shoes like Trump is suggesting

Asking a war hawk to step in the shoes of the soldiers she so easily puts in harms way is a call for violence?
