I think this time may be different.
They already had him under investigation for a Honey Pot scheme against Trump officials.....and now they're going to focus on him because he communicated a threat directly at the president.

It depends on what the investigation uncovers.
If he's involved in any plan for violence against the president, he's going to prison.
A guy in my shop made a threat at lunch against Obama several years ago....and one of the other guys in the shop called the FBI on him.
They showed up and questioned him.
That's all the farther it went, because he wasn't in any position to do anything.
James Comey is.
Remember back in 2016 before his Hillary email investigation, the leftwing media painted Comey as cerebral, thoughtful nonpartisan and above reproach? He turned out to be just another partisan leftwing hack. Our first glimpse of that was when he let Hillary off the hook for her classified emails. Note: When the leftwing media praises anyone, it's time to watch out.

They found out that Comey was a partisan hack and a massive security risk.
I cannot name all the laws he broke and got away with.
They needed it to be a pre dawn raid with all the news agencies watching.

That would be a mistake.
It wouldn't be hard to prove that Comey knew exactly what it meant, as they will be able to find out where he saw this meme at when they search his phone and laptop.

BUT
For his other crimes he really needs to be arrested, prosecuted, convicted and incarcerated.
Because a message needs to be sent.
It's no longer a situation where we can overlook misdeeds by political activists in the name of "give a little to get a little " or trying to get along.
The calls for violence and blatant weaponization of the DOJ took care of that. It was lines that should NOT have been crossed....and they gleefully did so.
Without prosecuting those who engaged in such blatant anti-constitutional behaviors they tacitly are basically holding the will of the people hostage.
Trump, for right, wrong, or indifferent reasons is our duly elected president and we need to suffer the consequences for our choice in electing him to the fullest extent possible. (The majority not perceiving this choice as suffering)
Comey is desperate to hold America hostage.....to his preferences and his preferences alone.

Pam Bondi is as serious as a migraine headache. Comey best pray he gets a powerful lawyer. Here is a major problem for Comey. COST. His lawyers won't work for free. After what happened to Guiliani, and My Pillow, he will be crying and setting up GoFundMe sites all over America. What is funny is to learn how many Democrats will fund a republican.
