jakes getting old & slowing down

he normally doesnt look this bad....jake is at least 11 years old more likely 12 or more....we dont know for sure...lately he is slowing down...da man refuses to accept it....i.e. this morning its cold....and da man is working outside...when he leaves...he calls the dogs..thor and jake....jake is slow to go....i tell jake he doesnt have to go out if he doesnt want to..and can stay in with me....he comes back inside the house...

the look i got from da man....like its my fault his dog is getting slower.....

jake is by the fire as we speak....i was at home with da man's last dog when he died of a heart attack...it was so sudden....just like humans...i will let jake decide what he wants to do

My Jake is going to be 13 this year.

Jakes a Border Collie. He might have a little frost on the roof but he's still got plenty of fire in that old furnace of his.

Slowing down though.

heaven would be jam packed with old dogs if it exsisted.
