Jack London: How I became a socialist

:lol::lol: SCAREDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD yer SCAREEEEEDDDDDDDDDD

People are turning towards helping each other and realizing WE are getting the shaft while the rich get richer off our hard work and we are coming for what's ours...I would be scared as well. Your LOSERtarian ideology won't go anywhere but the dump. Where it belongs of course.

Socialism is for losers

To CrusaderFrank: Exactly.

Incidentally, years ago I read that Jack London’s novel The Iron Heel was the only book by an American author that Stalin allowed in Russian libraries.

Like most lefties of the modern generation London's social outlook was bi-polar and his ultimate demise might have been related to clinical bi-polar disorder. At one time in his life London vowed he would not be forced by society to do manual labor and he became relatively wealthy by engaging in the capitalist system and selling stories. Today's left's admiration of London's flirtation with socialism is rooted in ignorance.

So you show me Jack London. I show you Henry Ford, Du Pont, and others who helped industrialize Stalin's Russia.

Definitions vary, but to me socialism exist anytime the government owns, operates or controls any aspect of the economy. So I would say that Social Security is a socialist program of the US federal government. I have a question for all of you here: Would you refused Social Security payments because it is a socialist program?

Meanwhile Britain is finding out socialized healthcare doesn't work and are now creating private clinics and hospitals.

Imagine that.
