Now an Australian Senator is calling for the bands immediate deportation.

And then, sometimes you can judge a person by the people they hang out with and admire. MAGA

It was LITERALLY a joke.
Just to remind you. Every time a Republican utters a syllable it is used as a news header from Progs for maximum mileage. I have no concern for near every Prog on TV. They are accessories to many crimes they have helped to cause. Including murder. I thought one of Trump's sons was going to punch out one of the Prog channel's reporters a couple of nights ago.

Way to go dumbass. How many of your roadies, and stage hands are now unemployed because of your sick comment.
Since it was Jack's side kick who shot his mouth off and not Jack, what I would like to know is if resuming the tour alone was not in the cards. I hate when an entire group of people end up suffering because of just one person's choice of words or actions.

God bless you and Jack and his road crew always!!!

Holly

P.S. According to this write up here, the guy who made the remark did apologize, but in my opinion, in order to be taken seriously enough, he needs to do more than just talk because at the end of the day, talk is cheap.

Actually, they were in Sydney, and it was his band mate Gass who said it.

And yeah, it was an epically stupid thing to say, and Tenacious D is history.
So their careers are on the same trajectory as Lee Greenwood and Ted Nugent.

Maybe they will let Trump use their music , now. Since they can't give it away.

On stage in Canada Jack Black ended his musical career in one fell swoop, by saying to the crowd, he wished the assassin had succeeded. Immediately following his comment every venue who was slated to host his tour dropped him. He became persona non grata, citing security, and financial concerns.

Fake news. How about you correct the headline?

Canceling a show does NOT translate to the end of his musical career/\.

Dude it wasn't Black.

He cancelled the rest of the tour and pushed back on the comment.

Jack Black ROCKS !!!

15th post
Because what one band member said, his career is hardly over.
Cancelling a tour because of something that you are not even responsible for could have repercussions for Jack. The fans who were looking forward to seeing him could walk away and if he has enough musical fans who are disappointed because of the show cancellations, that will then be the end of whatever musical identity the guy obviously was hoping to have.

God bless you and him and his fans always!!!
