I have family members who went to Europe who said pickpocketing was so awful!

They were shocked actually how bad theft was in Europe.

I have never been able to afford Europe.

You got watch your things like a hawk. Have things safely zipped up and in eyesight. My relatives bought zip up money pouches that they hid under their shirts, strapped around waist and neck.

Pickpockets are frequent in Berlin

It's on my bucket list to one day visit Europe, been wanting to for decades...but with how expensive airfare is to there I never have. If your already broke and don't make much money visiting Europe can be a challenge

Depends on where you live and where you head. Icelandair tends to have flash sales on really cheap tickets if they fly out of an airport near you and you can go off season on on the shoulder seasons. Hotels are where you get robbed blind when traveling, especially if your trip crosses into a weekend.
