Sure man. Everything is about racism.
It's like I said, we're trying to solve different problems. You're trying to transform society to your liking and I'm trying to get us back to consensus government. But your efforts to force change on people are a big part of why we're so divided. And why you keep losing.
Everything IS about racism to us who face racism coming from people who look like you. Long before we reach my age, we have heard all the excuses used for plausible deniability. Stop being white, trying to dismiss racism as a factor in anything. Donald Trump ran a racist campaign; the ONLY group that voted for him in the majority were whites. No matter what reason you give for why Trump won, the peope voted for racism because racism was part of the package.
So again, let me show you a personal example of what you do when policy contains what you believe is racism, even though you agree with most of the objectives.
I m not a member of the NOI, an yet I agree with many of the things they talk about as it pertains to the history of blacks in this country, the damage such racism has caused an the demand for reparative justice. The problem I have is the part of the teachings whereby Muhammad says that whites were created by a mad black scientist. Now I don't know if that theory has been debunked, but after hearing that, I stopped listening to anything from them, even though I agree with their belief in black economic empowerment, black cooperative economics, and controlling the education, business, social, and political institutions in your community.
After hearing a man spew racist trash while being a failed president, then more of it for 4 years outside of the office, and during his campaign, 57 percent f whites who voted chose to vote for a man who presented racism as part f the package. Today, people like you want to dismiss race in anything because race doesn't affect you.
Resonate an understanding white man, if you think that you are tired of hearing or reading people making things about race so often, think about how tired we are of having to face the racism coming from these looking like you nearly every day, year after year.
