Despite the fact that we are predicted to have a billion more years before the sun makes the Earth uninhabitable. One cannot deny the realities of thermodynamics. The sun is gradually warming.
How gradual is it? Well we don't seem to know. One thing is certain atmospheric CO2 here on Earth is not going to affect the Sun's temperature 90 million miles away.

:desk: What happened to the ''research'' that said the Sun is expanding and will swallow most of the Solar system after the year 3000 AD ? Or all the other ''research'' that claims doom for us all. Just add post one article to the rest.
Look for some group looking for a million dollar government grant to study it further and use it to hustle the public. :soapbox:

More common sense and less Warming Conspiracy .

P.S. It's Sun plus Galactic Centre effects -- composed of countless Black Holes .

And hardly anybody comments on the Earth's rapidly declining strength of its Magno Electric field .
Which is presumably why Baal Gates and others are running Chem Trails , desperately trying to thicken up the atmosphere whilst distributing heavy metal nano- particles to kill off as many as possible .

Bloody Sheeple seem clueless as usual .

What a load of shit ... did you check your source? ... some 12-year-old typing away in his parent's basement? ...

Carbon dioxide doesn't break down into methane ... and if it did, that would increase the amount of free oxygen ... the article doesn't say how and it doesn't have any citations ... the OP shows absolutely zero critical thinking ...

How do otherwise intelligent people get suckered into this crap? ...

Hmmm.... Increased ultraviolet activity is counterproductive to CO2 longevity. The lack of critical thinking as far as I can see is the total discounting of the sun's increaing energy levels.

It doesn't make any sense at all to neglect that input.

C02 breaks down into CO and a few free oxygen molecules.
It's not oxygen that sustains life It's carbon dioxide. I see a well mapped out and scientifically sustained probability that carbon monoxide will be heavily increased as ultraviolet activity becomes more violent in the upper atmosphere.

This is not the oxygen cycle that we're living in it's the carbon cycle.

I don't know.... I think the article touches on an important scientific reality that is largely neglected.

Conventional Wisdom has the atmosphere being shred off the planet first ... we don't find free hydrogen gas in our atmosphere because it all floated to the "top" and was literally blown off into space ... helium is actually quite rare on Earth because of this effect ...

The Sun is currently stable and still a Main Sequence star ... as such she will only slightly increase in power as long as there's sufficient hydrogen to keep her in this "Main Sequence" stage of her lifecycle ... the heavier gases like oxygen, nitrogen, argon and the heaviest and densest of all carbon dioxide are safe ...

Our Sun begins her death throes by enlarging into the Red Giant stage ... consuming Mercury, Venus and Earth within her diameter ... thus causing all the molecules and atoms to break down into nuclei and electrons ... Earth's atmosphere will be the first to go, then all our oceans will be blown out into space and then the very rock will boil and be swept away ...

We live in both an oxygen cycle and a carbon cycle ... the trick is to follow the energy ...

The Sun does warm the Earth and caused most PREVIOUS Warm periords, with CO2 lagging but Exacerbating the problem.
.. but now/THIS TIME the Sun's radiation hitting the earth has NOT changed in at least 50 years.. yet it is warming.

What has changed is the ever and Rapidly increasing/Spiking (50%) concentration/Density of our Fossil Fuel Burning GHG (CO2/CH4/etc) Blanket is trapping that Radiation and preventing it from Otherwise being reflected back out into space.

And the CO2 problem is CUMULATIVE.
It stays in the atmosphere for 5-200 years.
If we cut worldwide emissions 50% or even 80% (which we are not) the problem would still get worse Every year.

The last time we had over 400PPM CO2 the temp was higher and melting/Sea Level was 50' Higher.
We are in the Oven, just waiting waiting for the Earth catch up/'Cook Through.'

MEANWHILE we are constantly Turning up the Oven Temp/GHG effect!

Having said that....main sequence yes....
But the increase is a reality....it truly puzzles me that it is considered to be a non factor.

Red giant stage is roughly 5 billion years away
End of life cycles here on earth only a fifth of that.
IMO...a lot less than a fifth.

It's a temporal puzzlement ... "life on land" is only a half billion years old ... humanity is only a couple million years ...

There's a lot of evolution packing into a billion years ... life will evolve ... and without humans ...

Lol..... Yeah I often wonder what might be out there...
Titan....a methane cycle...oceans and rain and rivers all methane.

Correlation does not prove causation. You are mistaking the natural warming of an interglacial period for AGW.

Keeps home prices down ... keep in mind it's a 20 minute telecommute ... and nothing burns without free oxygen, fire insurance isn't required for most mortgages ...

Dude, it’s literally the Sun heating us up, always has. CO₂ a million miles away isn’t cranking its temperature.
