They will never get out of denial. Liberal policy has always been to do something to help particular classes and when those policies fail and make things worse they just double down and claim their policies didn't work because they didn't go far enough so they turn around and want to do even more of what doesn't work.

They never get to the point where they see and understand that the policies they do actually don't work. It just doesn't click in their head that their policies and ideas don't work. Therefore, when they lost in November, they think it can't possibly be due to anything they did. So, nothing to change, just make the messaging better because they don't think there is anything wrong with anything they do.

History always repeats itself. Corporations and big business will scoop enough money and power now for the next year's, then workers will wake up and figure it out. Whatever party backs workers with demanding higher wages, better benefits, higher overtime wages, protecting entitlements, will win out. I will never understand the desire to go against any of those.
