No president sets gas prices or has nothing to do with how much they produce.
Before Trump was out of office the new money he pushed into the economy from two debt ceiling increases and then suspending the debt ceiling for 2 years, helped to create the high inflation we've seen.
That's a historic fact. Big spending government is why the USD has lost 75% of it's buying power, just since Reagan.
Crime always goes up during economic down turns.
