When I grew up....people knew how to play. We've been privileged to have lived through some of the best years in musical history. I've enjoyed every genre, but like you, some more than others.
I love music--but unfortunately, can't read a note of music.When I grew up....people knew how to play.
Right now they're making music with computers.
The skill and the art has been disappearing.
I took up guitar last month.....and I'm still learning strumming patterns. I'm also learning finger picking and hammering down notes. My G major Cord still sounds a bit buzzy.....but I figure if I change to lighter strings that will go away. Right now I'm building calluses and I'm up to an hour of uninterrupted practice every day.
I started learning when I was 7 yrs old.I love music--but unfortunately, can't read a note of music.

Neither can Paul McCartney. Doesn't seem to bother him!./
I have enough of a voice and someone has suggested I join the church choir, but I can't read music either.
Oh, well.

I liked the Beatles, but I'm not much for any of them alone. George Harrison came closest to being good on his own and he still had a way to go..
I'm amazed at the quality of voices in our church's choir -- blows McCartney out of the water.
.
Sorry, I don't riot. I certainly wouldn't want to be mistaken for a BLM/Antifa/Arsonist democrat.
When I was a kid I was in the All-City Choir and performed several times in concerts..

Why?The author raises an interesting point, where are the "second amendment people"? they claim to be against tyrannical government, so they should be up in arms (possibly literally) about what tRump is doing these days.
Face it -- you fucked up voting for Trump again. "Owning the libs" isn't going to be as much fun as you thought it would be. Deal with it like a man.
The only good news is that you are a bitter, racist old man....and you won't have to live with Trump's disastrous, insane tariffs as long as the rest of us.
When they were together they were musical geniuses.I liked the Beatles, but I'm not much for any of them alone. George Harrison came closest to being good on his own and he still had a way to go.
Probably because none of them were actually insurrectionists.
They were protesters that got snookered into ..................................
LMAO, You, Winnie and donkey seem to be hung up on "like a man" Ironic for a crew that can't define what a woman is.Deal with it like a man.
I never heard much about them until just before Ed Sullivan hosted them. When they were together they were musical geniuses.
(Must have been the acid)
I can't verify this, but my wife used to live in Philly in the 60s and she met Paul McCartney and John Lennon in a black nightclub when the Beatles were on tour in the US for the first time.
She said Paul made a pass at her, but she was scared of white guys at the time.
She said they were really well dressed and had all kinds of money. Nobody seemed to know who they were at the time. But then she saw them on Ed Sullivan.
When I grew up....people knew how to play.

Funny how you mentioned that....turns out Trump was still giving his speech when the Capital Cops opened fire on protesters on the Capital steps.Who got snookered into believing the lies of the orange man.
