Right now, the left wants you to get to work.

Right now, the left wants to collect DMV fees.

Right now, the left wants to collect insurance fees.

but there will be a time, shortly, when going where you want to go will be a luxury.

Look how much the left makes an issue out of gun violence, and that's not a drop in the bucket compared to car deaths.

When they come to confiscate cars you'll start hearing the endless sob stories ...like they care.

What they're planning is, people will take basic public transportation to a location, then a driverless car will take them the rest of the way.

Of course, most will ride the monorail from the communes where they will have everyone live. Only the elite will have big houses and private cars. Liberal politician seem to dream about being the next Castro or even Bowl Cut Jr. They want to be able to do as they please and live above the law while dictating to the rest of us.

Maybe they'll let special people, like athletes, have little cars like the Trabants that the East Germans used to have.

Another paranoid right wing 'they're coming to take us away' rant from the politically mentally challenged. What is it with the right today, are they a creation caused by BS news, big money Kochs, or so ignorant they cannot see that life isn't so simple as us against them? The funny thing is their latest hero and savior could give a FF for them and yet they droll when he promises things he'll never deliver. What a bunch of weak children, and to copy their leader, sad! LOL

Why are so many Americans so dumb today? Was this done on purpose? Are the Koch brothers to blame? "Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right" by Jane Mayer.

"I want to argue for something which is controversial, although I believe that it is also intuitive and commonsensical. My claim is this: Oliver [ average Right Winger] believes what he does because that is the kind of thinker he is or, to put it more bluntly, because there is something wrong with how he thinks. The problem with conspiracy theorists is not, as the US legal scholar Cass Sunstein argues, that they have little relevant information. The key to what they end up believing is how they interpret and respond to the vast quantities of relevant information at their disposal. I want to suggest that this is fundamentally a question of the way they are. Oliver isn’t mad (or at least, he needn’t be). Nevertheless, his beliefs about 9/11 are the result of the peculiarities of his intellectual constitution – in a word, of his intellectual character." Great everytime the dems get into a drunk driving accident they'll claim the Russians hacked their auto to drive drunk off a bridge.

Another paranoid right wing 'they're coming to take us away' rant

remember 25 - 30 years ago when everyone laughed at us, saying "the government doesn't want to read your mail, why do you think they care what you wrote to your grandma HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

then one day...the media reports that every email is being recorded.

just keep thinking that way
don't be paranoid ! just because the government stuffs you in a camp doesn't mean they'll kill you

I think it scares people because they see the way conspiracy rants try to poorly correlate connections and probabilities through assumptive naratives and thus fear red flagging of simple current event discussions or research for discussion.
In a way that fear stiffles learning, growth, and solutions. But real fear comes through abuse of that info to be used for nofarious reasons against opponents & people who exercise their rights to speak out.
That initial concern became real and now the people who were harassed for their concern can say:
"see this is what we meant, I told you so!"
