Yes they do sometimes, but that doesn’t mean you can just assume that everything that anybody who knows Obama says is the same thing as Obama saying it. Just be honest and say that Obama’s old chief of staff said it. Easy and honest. To say that Obama said it is not honest and it’s not even close to believable to use the “proxy” assumption like you are trying to do without more evidence. You should be careful about focusing in on IQ while using such idiotic logic.

To be fair, that is a rather lame excuse. If they felt it was the right thing to do then they should have released a statement with or without McConnells support. The Turtle would of had to deal with the political fall out for not supporting an effort to stand up to Russia.
