It was -30 degrees celcius last night with the wind chill. I can't take this anymore, it's impacting my body.

This is insane. It's only -17 or so right now with the wind chill.

Crazy stuff. I'm getting too old for this.

That is why I moved to Albuquerque to retire.
Its 61 degrees F right now.
Sunny, no wind, warm.

The costs of housing are half in ABQ compared to PDX where I came from, so I was able to double my rental units.
But rents are nearly the same, about $1200/month, so my income doubled.

Yeah, I am thinking Florida, Texas or Arizona. NM works too I guess.

If I could sue G-d for this cold weather I would :eusa_eh:

You mean Canada’s cold in the winter? I never knew that….

Hold on

Global warming is just over the horizon

When I was in university, I used to wear sweaters but always kept my jacket open. I never liked to have my jacket zipped up, I still don't like it. I like to be comfortable.

I didn't wear gloves, I didn't wear a hat, I didn't zip up my coat. I'd take the bus 2 hours each way during winter and I always felt warm. My blood cycled well and it helped me to develop a strong immune system.

Those were the days.

Your testosterone levels have dropped brah..

& global warming is a bitch, yeah.. 😀

I've been in this apartment for two years now. No AC used, no heating power input apart from heated towel rail. Minimum temp observed 19°C, maximum 26°C. What's that, 66°F and 79°F?

Always in bare feet. Like now, with the balcony door open, 25.5°C.

Easiest living I've ever had. May be a warm summer though.
