I think the way it will work is Boasberg will refer the case to the DoJ. When Bondi refuses to do anything about it he then has the option of naming a special prosecutor.

As much as I would like to see Garcia released from that gulag soon, my hope is trump's open defiance of the court orders continues, resulting in congressional Repubs having no choice but to stop enabling his illegal behavior.
