It seems like the fallout from the Epstein files being released is hurting all kinds of people, other than Trump for whom it was targeted

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) yelled and wagged her finger at her Republican colleagues on the House floor Tuesday night after the chamber rejected a resolution to censure Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands) with the help of a handful of Republicans.

The GOP failure to censure Plaskett, in turn, led to Democrats declining to pursue a censure of Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.).

The resolution to censure Plaskett and remove her from the House Intelligence Committee over recently released documents that show she consulted with Jeffrey Epstein during a 2019 hearing failed in a 209-214-3 vote.

Three Republicans — Reps. Don Bacon (Neb.), Lance Gooden (Texas) and Dave Joyce (Ohio) — voted “no,” along with all Democrats. Three other Republicans voted present: Rep. Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.), Rep. Dan Meuser (R-Pa.), and Rep. Jay Obernolte (R-Calif.).

And on the democrat side of the Swamp, it is no better

The House narrowly voted against formally reprimanding Stacey Plaskett, a Democratic delegate who represents the United States Virgin Islands as a nonvoting member in the House of Representatives, for communicating with the late accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein during a 2019 congressional hearing.

Even democrats outside the Swamp are suffering

Larry Summers announced Wednesday night that he would step aside from his teaching duties at Harvard University while the school investigates his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Of course, democrats, the media, and the Swamp don't really care about any of this.

No, they are just after Trump is all

Hilarious.

It reminds me of the "Metoo" movement as they went after democrats like Harvey Weinstein, on the premise that the movement would come back round to take out Trump as well. It didn't.

They threw their own under the bus for no real reason.

Just see how much they loved the guy before throwing him under the bus, when they knew decades prior what he was all about.

The people hurt most in the saga where the women (before they were women).

Those who were falsely accused are also hurt greatly.

Those who committed the acts against the young deserve their day in court and/or to face judgement if they haven't already. If they are wealthy and powerful, they are going to lose some of that beyond the court case now that the details are known.

Trump was never going to be hurt most by this in the eyes of G-d or the courts, the issue will be when MSM focus on a sentence or two which invariably be focused on (if not purposely imbedded to hurt Trump).

Of the 50,000 pages revealed, just how much focus will there be on Trump or his associated within these pages? I am guessing it will be unfairly disseminated.

That is truly a travesty if it comes to fruition as I believe it denigrates the true victims and true predators just for some cheap political points.

Politics is a really dirty game.

Boebert and MTG have been doing the right thing -- focusing on those men (not including Trump) who took advantage of these young girls. That has been their focus all along.

They're (correctly) not accusing him. They want the OTHER men to be held accountable. If it turns out that Trump himself did something wrong -- and there is zero proof of that right now -- then so be it.

For that, they deserve credit, not anger. ESPECIALLY from ANY father of daughters.

A rare occasion I agree with you

This is a great example of the Democrats clearly affected by their TDS.
Actual derangement. Believing something is true, because you want it to be true - beyond normal wishing.

Also - how they really don't care who they hurt in the process. They hate Trump more than they feel about anything else. So if it means burning down a building full of people because they hope Trump is inside - they would gladly light the match.

Oddly, as usual it's Democrats that scream the most and have more to hide.
Factually Jeffery Epstein was a Democrat contributor and met with many more Democrats dating back to the Clinton presidency.
Yet, Democrats dismiss the Hill and Bill travels to Lolita Island, funding donations to Hakeem Jefferies, Larry Summers relationship and now Stacey Plaskett.
Yet, they have have not any evidence that Trump was involved with Epstein for more than 20 years...

That's what denial will do to you.

There is all kinds of evidence, you just dismiss it as Fake News.

This is trump being trump. No mention of Epstein or the Island.
Just like any other man........totally acceptable.

So....

Lemme get this straight.

What you're saying is...

Dems went after Trump with a 5 alarm fire accusation - and then it backfired on them in epic proportions?

Talk about a first time for everything!

Strangely, it's being revealed that more Democrats were involved with Epstein than previously revealed.
The Democrats have once again shot themselves in the foot.
