It feels like a bit of a cliche to say this but.........

Only someone totally ignorant of the current issues, or a moron, would make such a comment.

The Leftists have loaded 1500 pages of pork in a bill that is intended to fund the government for a couple of months.

I'm guessing it's the latter option.
trump 2.0 hasn't officially begun yet and he's already nominated one cabinet appointee who was forced to withdraw because.........well..........grossly unqualified and......you know.......is a sexual molester of under aged women. Then there's the dangerous buffoonery of RFK, Hegseth, Oz, Patel, Gabbard, too many to mention. All of whom he tried to put in place without a confirmation hearing. He refused to sign the legally required transition ethics pledge. Applicants for positions in the admin are being asked to sign a pledge of loyalty. Then there are the promises of retribution. House Crazy Rep. Loudermilk did the Orange Dotard's bidding by smearing Liz Cheney with an accusation that's going nowhere. Blowing up the bipartisan budget agreement reminds me of him suddenly refusing to accept a bipartisan appropriations bill that had unanimously passed the POT controlled Senate in 2018 because it didn’t include money he wanted to build his wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. He is suing a pollster for publishing a poll that turned out to be wrong. The corrupt cronyism involving Elon Musk is plain for anyone to see. The mass deportation plan is going to rip the country apart. Then there's the planned purge of thousands of civil servants judged to be disloyal.

For those trumples who get a quizzical look on your faces when folks like me refer to the chaos of trump 1.0, welcome to trump 2.0.

How many nominees did Obama withdraw, Biden?

3 for Obama, 1 for Biden, so you pretending like this is something new happening is your usually lying twattery.

Federal workers would receive retroactive pay when the government reopened, which was not always guaranteed until Congress passed a law after a shutdown in 2019.
Government workers should not be paid for days they didnt work

........we are already being reminded of Repub's inability to do basic governance.

With a possible government shutdown looming at day’s end, President-elect Donald J. Trump early Friday renewed his demand that Congress suspend the debt ceiling, intensifying a face-off with lawmakers from his own party as Republicans run short of options before a midnight deadline.
Government Shutdown Live Updates: Trump Renews Demand to Remove Debt Ceiling as Deadline Looms

Reports are swirling Johnson may be pushed out as Speaker. Mike Lee suggested installing Musk. But why would he accept a demotion from co-prez?
/—-/ You’re just pizzed your congressman isn’t getting a 40% raise. We admire your courage.

Do you know how it's supposed to be passed?
Yeah, ancient history, BEFORE September, which has NEVER happened in decades.
This isn't a real budget, it's a continuing resolution because congress can't get it's shit together to pass an actual budget.
STILL.......A budget.

No, a continuing resolution, not a plan of anything, just a pile of pork insulating enough money to run things for 3 months.
SO...............Just like a budget, with a different name.
A credit card or a line of credit..........

Shouldn't we at least wait until the horses have left the starting gate before we start bitching?
