Israel scared of Palestinian recognition

Yeah, I know. Europe, China, Russia and the Arab world are fine with financing terrorists.

If the IDF boarded that ship to kill, then why IDF soldiers get stabbed and beat? Why didn't they just come on board and start shooting real bullets? :cuckoo: Surely you don't think one of the greatest military forces in the world would board a ship and try to kill people with paintball bullets and mace?!

The IDF boarded the ship with guns. What else could their intention be? Why then did they not send a diplomat?

I don't know of any solider or police officer that doesn't carry a gun.

Evidently, because the ship with guns was not carrying a diplomat.
The only guns were brought on board by the IDF.[/qiote]Good, not enough of them, though. What did turkish thugs expect? A female diplomat to beat up?
Israel was not interested in looking for weapons. The ships were inspected at their port of departure. The flotilla offered for their ships be inspected by an independent body like the UN or the Red Cross. Israel refused the offer and attacked.
No "independent body" and "port of departure" assurances would satisfy any customs officers of any country even in a peace time, of course. So, we don't need these flotilla lies, floating around like faeces.

Exactly they were shooting live ammo before they went on. I saw the one film which was smuggled out. No wonder the UN which also saw it could come to no other conclusion than that they went on board with the intent on killing.
Funny drivel.

Call me a "racist" all you want, but you can't call me a liar.

It is pretty hard not to be worried when your next door neighbor has in their constitution that they want to wipe you out and then others in the area say go ahead. The real answer is that most of the Middle East do like either of them and hope that they will wipe each other out in a way. How many countries have offered the Palestinians any help. The answer is NONE.

No....the US is!

"Palestinian" is not a race. It is an ideology - a political national movement. There's nothing racist about saying that a group of Arabs prone to anger and violence over a Jewish state, are, well, exactly that.

so does the EU, Israel, and a host of Arab nations.

Palestinians are raking in the dough.

To say that a people in this case the Palestinians have as their nature anger is what the dictionary specifies as racism as I quoted.

rac·ism
a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.

However for you

It was already noted by DuBois that, in making the difference between races, it is not race that we think about, but culture: “...a common history, common laws and religion, similar habits of thought and a conscious striving together for certain ideals of life”.[43] Late 19th century nationalists were the first to embrace contemporary discourses on "race", ethnicity and "survival of the fittest" to shape new nationalist doctrines. Ultimately, race came to represent not only the most important traits of the human body, but was also regarded as decisively shaping the character and personality of the nation.[44]

-snip

Notions of race and racism often have played central roles in such ethnic conflicts. Throughout history, when an adversary is identified as "other" based on notions of race or ethnicity (in particular when "other" is construed to mean "inferior"), the means employed by the self-presumed "superior" party to appropriate territory, human chattel, or material wealth often have been more ruthless, more brutal, and less constrained by moral or ethical considerations.

You scream antisemitism when people are not even being antisemetic but do not understand the basis of such prejudice so condone it when it is used.

The Palestinians want to end the occupation. You can call that anger if you want but it is a common trait of all people.
