It's nice to see Israelis and Jordanians working together, but it's pretty sad that Israeli labels have to be taken off. I would think most people in need wouldn't care who was feeding them as long as they were being fed.

Over half a million refugees fleeing Syria's ongoing civil war have flooded into northern Jordan over the past year. Nearly half of them are living in a large UN refugee camp, but the rest are relying on care from various NGOs, including at least one from Israel.

Among the organizations funding and distributing physical and emotional aid to the hundreds of thousands of Syrians is IsraAid, an Israeli humanitarian group with years of experience in Africa and other regions.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon on Tuesday December 3rd announced that Israel has sent humanitarian aid to Syria during a visit to the Golan, reports AFP.

"We've sent food, water, baby food and other humanitarian products," said Ya'alon, adding "we cannot remain idle when civilians are being confronted by a humanitarian crisis."

The Defense Minister's visit came after IDF soldiers were fired on from a Syrian army outpost on Monday. The IDF returned fire and identified a direct hit on a Syrian soldier.

Earlier on Monday a Syrian mortar shell fell just outside Majdal Shams, a Druze village in the Golan Heights.

The OP title is a misleading lie.

The Israeli government isn't doing squat for the refugees.

The article says a privately funded NGO based in Israel is providing the humanitarian relief to the refugees. ...

Tell you what, Sunni Man. Is anything stoplping you as a private individual from flying over to Jordan and volunteering to help with these refugees. After all, some of them are probably your fellow Sunnis, and one would think you would at least want to help them out.

There is no reason for me to go there.

Most mosques in my area have been collecting money for Syrian relief with U.S. government approval for the last 2 years.

And I have given my share.

But if you are soo concerned silly-Sally then maybe you should go there. ...

Why, Sunni Man, in the early eighties my husband and two other Americans would sneak into Tehran and make arrangements for people who wanted to fly out of Iran, and these people were Muslims and Jews. Can anyone see Sunni Man brave enough to do that? These desperate people would be shaking until the plane was in the air.

Why do you bother with Sunni Troll ?? Leave the poor guy alone.
He can't handle the fact that the ME is full of Muslim savages like himself and that Israel is the only country with anything positive coming out of it.

Poor Sunni Troll

Lets play a song for him

:boohoo:

Guys, Sunni and Jos just step on your toes so you'll start saying things which will cause the mods to send this thread to the badlines. That's their tactic everytime they see a positive thing about Israel. Don't fall into that.
