I've never had anything against electric cars, I just won't buy one til they get the range right and the recharge time right.

As far as tesla goes, they seem to have the edge on technology, sensors, object detection and self drive, but to me, unless you have the money to spend for the model S, the cars are just too plain...inside and out. I'd prefer the bmw i4 myself, much nicer looking car both inside and out, though I don't know much about their reliability.

Also, you can pick up a 2 year old i4 for mid 30's with under 30k miles.
