Stats don't lie, less than 1/2 of Iranian citizens are devout muslims and 50,000 mosques have closed.

To me, this tells me that the Iranian peeps may be ready to give the Supreme Leader the heave-ho and have him and his board of leading mullahs dancing on the end of a rope sooner rather than later.

Attendance at mosques, saying of mandatory prayers, and belief in the 72 virgins when one dies is all shrinking.

If I were Khamenei, I'd be looking at a deal with Trump, who is going to offer a better deal than the Iranian people looking to restore the beloved Peacock Throne.

50K Mosques have closed!

I was going to call BS, then I remembered there are 68 churches of various flavors in my small county.

I can walk out on my back deck and see three, with three more just out of sight within a half mile.

Around here you can't toss a dead cat without hitting a church....No Mosques that I know of though.

That and the average IQ in Iran is 106 so I can see where death cults might not be all that popular.

LOL....Of the three I can see one is literally on top the other, just separated by a parking lot.

They are cool though, one hosts a gun show every few years and the other makes excellent chili.

Last time I was in Georgia I was driving through Macon... I wanted a 7/11 or something to get a soda... I figured its like California which has a convenience store on every block... wrong... they have a church on every block... I didn't get my soda...
