ISIS, while in trouble in its heart region, has nevertheless the means to be active in other regions. This is possible due to the many supporters the terrorist groups has around the globe. ISIS, largely attacking those who made the group powerful, has thousands of supporters worldwide. This has been revealed by a defector, who released documents naming 22.000 supporters in over 50 countries.
"The promise to ‘squeeze the heart’ of ISIS has been made by Joe Biden, U.S Vice President, during his Middle- East tour on March 7th, 2016. He demanded America’s most wealthy allies in the region, namely Saudi Arabia and UAE to take sincere measures against the group they once implicitly supported to topple Syria’s Assad.

"A former fighter of the Islamic State calling himself ‘Abu Hamed’ has contacted the British journalist Stuart Ramsey from Sky News with stolen ISIS documents based of a memory stick which covers extensive information regarding 22.000 ISIS supporters from over 50 different countries. The memory stick has since been passed on to the British police.
Abu Hamed, who initially fought with the Free Syrian Army but since switched to the Islamic State had become upset with the latter’s leadership which in turn caused him to turn his back on Abu al-Baghdadi and his self-proclaimed caliphate. Apparently, the memory stick was stolen from the head of the ISIS’ internal security force."
