Is Wetback Truly An Offensive Term?

I'm not talking about calling legal immigrants anything. I'm talking about calling illegal immigrants this.
The point remains, people that use that pejorative, or any other for that matter, are poorly educated and will direct it at anyone unjustly. It isn't just Americans. Mexican nationals have a term, "pocho" that they direct at other Latinos. It means they have forgotten where they come from. Personally, I say "sticks and stones" but the bottom line, like all pejoratives, it is offensive. As for offending our illegal invaders, IDGAF if they like it or not. Doesn't mean I'd use it.

My Japanese in-laws suffered greatly after Pearl Harbor, but the word "Jap" didn't send them into a tizzy.

LOL....I remember one guy getting all pissed off about Norma's end panel for 6.5mm and 7.7mm Jap. ammo.

As long as the period is after the abbreviation it's GTG.

Nice try she posted pics of a snowstorm last month out of her window. Oh, In or PA is more like it.

And because I didn't see her post, you think I'm lame.

Not surprising. Just another weak attempt from the left cult.

You're not giving it your best. Keep trying.

I find the term for illegal border crossers from Canada to be more disrespectful:

“Snowbacks.”

not sure what world you live in

But's safe to say - stay indoors

Do you honestly believe that I'm actually going to call any Latino a wetback? If you do you seriously need help. As there's a difference between asking a question and actually doing it.
