To answer your thread question: NO. Western Media is virtually all biased approximately 90% Left and 10% Right. Zero percent independent.

The founders should have been more clear, "a free and independent media is essential to democracy".

"Journalism" today is almost always just political activism in disguise. They don't for the most part report facts anymore and let us decide, they give us their spin on the facts or complete lies and tell us how we're supposed to feel about it.

That's propaganda, not reporting the news.
