I know which party is best for me and you. The way to fix the GOP is for all of us to vote Democratic like we did in 2008. And when Republicans try to make Obama a 1 term president, we punish them in the 2010 midterms. And don't vote GOP until they change their behavior.

But I know what you are going to say and in a way I agree. When the Democrats have the power they start letting me down too. But no where near how much the GOP lets us down.

Yeah, I don't see a lot in terms of dementia. I think this is just an age-related fade. It happens. And yeah, he was never particularly intelligent to begin with. Many, many people who worked for him in his first season term made that pretty goddamn clear, first hand.

There are two problems, though: Part of his aging is that he's willing to say pretty much anything now, including delusions, AND he has surrounded himself with shameless sycophants who won't tell him no.

So, age-related cognitive decline, delusion, age-amplified juvenile behaviors, a lack of intelligence and no guardrails. Not good for anyone, but catastrophic when you're President of the United States.
