I have no idea. Was this someone trump specifically selected, or someone suggested to him by someone else? A lot of people are pardoned by recommendations from other members in congress, in his cabinet. Biden gave clemency (pardons) to 4200 people, I doubt many, if any, were selected by him. Likely his cabinet brought him a list and told him these people need pardons.
