Send your own boys home in body bags. It's OK with me.
Since Trump intends to betray Ukraine, it is the perfect time.
Give Ukraine a fighting chance before Derp fuhrer sells it out to his boss.

No, I'm sure it makes no sense to you. But "give Ukraine a fighting chance" by sending your own son over to help out ...... and then it might 'make sense' to you. What? Makes no sense at all.
I'm sure Putin knows that's not true. The missiles are short range SSM's that use the HIMARS launchers. They are INS only and do not need any NATO satellites or operators, Ukraine knows how to use them already. What does change things is that these missiles would have to be operated by NATO because the Ukrainians don't have the satellites and know how to use them, so they will have no choice but to respond against NATO as appropriate going forward once the long-range missiles are getting used.
We are not talking about short range missiles. They are Army Tactical Missile Systems, or ATACMS, and even retired General Wesley Clark has acknowledged publicly that the US has to okay anything they strike with them because only the US can upload the targeting package to the ATACMS on the Ukrainian military's behalf.I'm sure Putin knows that's not true. Ukraine has troops in Kursk that can relay the targeting information, or they can use the missiles to target airfields and temporarily close them. It's not a game-changer in any way. It's a handful of missiles, and a symbolic green-light to use them on Russian targets.
Not in that it's a BRICs forum with economic focus GlasI believe this is too complicated for Westerners to understand.
DG....Attacking any NATO country is a line that Putin will not cross. It would mean devastation for Russia.

Can we assume that Biden got this advice from adults in his administration? This is hardly the time to be making strategic changes in this conflict, with a new administration just a couple weeks away.
Yet i've heard BR has bought much Ukraine real estate Frank???BlackRock is looking at writing off their investment in Zelen$ky and Ukrainian government

Are you not "calling for that" by supporting war rather than peace? Someone's sons are dying. Better those of the supporters of war. Where do you see straw? No one is calling for that.
It’s your straw man argument. You made it up.
Exactly.
Precisely.
Bingo. If Putin was crazy enough to try, I suspect his own people will rise up against him and possibly take him out.Attacking any NATO country is a line that Putin will not cross. It would mean devastation for Russia.
You'll have to explain that to the people of Crimea:The problem is no leader of Ukraine can make a peace deal that doesn't involve a return to the 2014 borders. They'd be voted out of office.

You mean the providences who voted OVERWHELMINGLY to rejoin Russia and were then attacked by Ukrainian Nazis, should stay with Ukraine???The problem is no leader of Ukraine can make a peace deal that doesn't involve a return to the 2014 borders. They'd be voted out of office.
Had Putin used diplomatic means to resolve the issues of Crimea and Donbas, that might have been feasible. Now, after so many people have died, not so much. The war will continue to drag on, and there's not much Trump can do about it.
And if he sells out a Democracy in favor of Putin's dictatorship, he'll be as reviled as Neville Chamberlain is today.
