California vineyard spills nearly 100K gallons of red wine

Rodney Strong contracted with two vacuum truck operators to clean up the spill, and tried to assemble a dam in the creek, Elson said. The containment measure was unsuccessful, since water was flowing faster because of the recent rains.

I suppose its global warmings fault- or Trumps.

Full disclosure I don't drink alcohol.

I don't know...it's fermented juice...I wouldn't think so but it could be harmful to some wildlife if it were to enter into a waterway in a large amount.

isnt that what they call alcohol abuse??

Could be a big problem, besides drunk fish. When red wine (red especially) is exposed to air it absorbs oxygen and oxidises. (cut open an apple see what happens when exposed to air) Taking oxy away from water dwelling organisms, even algae and weeds can be harmful.
