If a “innocent” person is swept up, all they have to do to be released is produce a green card (which they are required to have on their person and produce upon demand) or proof of citizenship which now is nothing more than a compliant drivers’s licence.

If you want to deport illegal criminals, go to a court and make a case that this person should be deported. Don't just nab up anyone with a green card you can catch (because the real criminals are actually pretty smart at evading law enforcement) who might have committed a minor infraction that would be dismissed if it was a white person.

I'm not sure how increasing unemployment and reducing the effectiveness of government services is going to help working people.
