I rarely do this and at the risk of someone accusing me of flattery, your posts are usually very insightful and well reasoned. They are not flippant and from what I've seen use valid and cogent arguments instead of emotions and hysteria.

For example, "Trust but verify" is not just a great quote, but a great way to live an entire life. It applies in politics, religion, among supposed friends, coworkers, bosses and lovers. If someone says "Illegals commit fewer crimes" and submits reports from experts, first "trust" that experts are probably right but research to confirm they are (and they are NOT)

It is difficult to make an Asian blush.....but you may just have accomplished it.

When the Federal Reserve Act was passed and the 16th and 17th Amendments also, the foundation of change was made. Now the whim of the citizens is on how much we can get from the government. Along with that many laws were passed that has reduced our inalienable rights and the criminal codes went into the stratosphere. If all was enforced, we would all be in prison. Democracy is always shouted as when we elect a party, they quickly forget the people what goes on behind the scenes. A lot of huge legislation passed has had losses of rights in them. Democrats are now proud of being called Progressives. That is now in their lexicon. Communism is being introduced and it's in the incipient stage. Progressive railroad people for not adhering to their doctrines. And we saw that with the Jan. 6 fiasco and Christians homes raided and Christians going to prison as examples.
