These CEOs answer to a board of directors. It's not a game, not hiding, also not exactly secret either. They tell all these large, medium and small corporations what they will or won't do. It's that simple since they are always majority shareholders. They also tell the Government what they will or won't do.

Every President takes their phone call and they are on speed dial with the state Govenors and Senators.
