Is "The Real" a slam on "The View" as being fake?

I came across this daytime show called "The Real" which has a group of all minority women around a table just like on "The View". Is this a jab inferring that "The View" is fake since it is mostly White women or is it a more general statement that real people are non-white? Or does it mean something else?
