He signaled today that he was waiting for congress to approve action. So is he actually gonna seek this approval or is he just spinning to deflect from his "we have no strategy" comment?
 
Why doesn't he just make war by Executive Order?

It's how he does everything else.

Then again, if he fights in Syria via EO, then he loses his political cover.

I've seen no evidence to the contrary. For once Obama told the truth.

Ps. Bombing random Toyota trucks in the desert is not a strategy.

This time, the Mahdi will have to seek Congressionial approval. An executive order would finally spell his political downfall. As far as "no strategy" goes, the DOD has contingency plans for every possible military scenario imaginable. @Rocco will confirm this.
