Is Newsome and the democrats responsible for the wild fires in California?

A grown "man", calling someone "Newscum".

This would be embarrassing for any adult. But an American President -- how far this country has fallen.
Really? That's the embarrassing part?

Not the almost ten thousand houses, apartments and other buildings burned down, and at least ten people dead due to Democrat mismanagement? Not the waterless fire hydrants? Not the phone call Newsom faked to avoid talking to a mom who lost her home?

BTW, where are the homeless going, since I know you don't care about those evil rich homeowners?

Trump has a history of chastising California for their poor management of wildfires, most notably when he critiqued them for not maintaining their forests to clear debris from catching fire in 2019 and for not diverting more water from the north to the south, all to try and protect a very small fish called the "smelt".

This fish is why the fire hydrants in burning California have no water.

Meanwhile, the mayor Karen Bass of the apocalyptic region decided to go to Gahna to celebrate the inauguration of their new President. Why a mayor of LA is doing this is unclear. Her departure coincided with the National Weather Service escalating warnings about the coming windstorm. But even when the mayor got news of the wildfires, she chose not to come home sooner.

But the mayor is also being questioned regarding depleting the fire department.

Los Angeles' budget is in the spotlight as multiple wildfires rage around the city amid revelations that Mayor Karen Bass slashed the fire department's budget last year while prioritizing spending on the city's homeless population.

For the 2023-2024 fiscal year, Los Angeles budgeted $837 million for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), which was roughly 65% the size of the homeless budget of $1.3 billion.

An analysis by L.A.'s city comptroller last year found that roughly half the budget for homelessness went unspent.

From the 2023-2024 to the 2024-2025 budgets, the LAFD’s budget was reduced by over $17 million from $837,191,237 to $819,637,423.

Bass had proposed a larger budget cut to the LAFD, about $23 million, but it was not adopted.

Of course, it is California where the voters drink the cool aid any time a democrat demands they do.

So, nothing will change other than federal money continuing to fix the utter devastation in the region because of their ineptitude while they try to turn the rest of the nation into California. After all, only true democracy can be attained with one party rule, that is, rul of the democrat party.
Do cows shit? There’s your answer.

The budget for the LA Metro bus system, which never runs on time, is 9 billion dollars this year.

The mayor is allowing homeless people to sleep on the buses. Try taking the #4 bus after midnight, I guarantee it's an experience you won't want to repeat.

How California water bond money is being spent:

2.7 billion of the 14 billion dollar Prop 1 bond (2014) was specifically earmarked for water storage projects.

The biggest such project is the Sites reservoir, which is still in environmental review. Construction hasn't started yet. Once it does, mixing the concrete will take up to a million gallons of water per day, for 4 years.

If the site were operational, California could have captured 120 trillion gallons of rainwater from the recent storms.

Is Newsome and the democrats responsible for the wild fires in California?

No, but Dotard is relying on you dopes believing his baseless allegations.

Critics also point out that most of California’s wildlands are federally managed.

Trump blames California for wildfires, tells state 'you gotta clean your floors'

The combination of assigning blame while fires still burn and offering questionable remedies have become as familiar to Californians as the conflagrations that ignite each year.

Anything else?
Newsome and the wacko greenies are to blame for the fires being do large and out of control

It would be neat if we could at least wait for the smoke to clear, literally, before we start calling people "scum" for political advantage.

The (tiny) silver lining for this awful ******* disaster is that some important people have been profoundly affected by this. Cities in North Carolina wiped off the ******* map don't matter because those people just aren't important enough.

It looks like this time, this one is going to trigger some pretty deep investigations on government, priorities, weaknesses and administrative holes. If the elected "leaders" there did **** up, then hopefully there will be hell to pay AND some REAL changes will be made. Has California's priorities gone completely out of whack? My guess would definitely be yes, but we need a thorough audit of EVERYTHING once this is over. And then serious discussions about priorities and preparedness. Like normal adults used to be able to do.

It's a goddamn shame that politics has to ******* poison every last goddamn thing now.

Hey idiot,

From the article you referenced..

"Bass had proposed a larger budget cut to the LAFD, about $23 million, but it was not adopted."

The GOP answer now is that there isn't enough socialism..

After the inauguration I am moving to California and putting in my claim for relief!

It isn't enough to know what they did and how bad it is. Why? Why did this happen? Sheer incompetence? DEI poison? Manipulation of land values?

So you're saying Bass contributed to a disaster and tried to do worse...idiot.

Trump litterally promissed that he has some guy who will fix Chicago's inner city problems for him, because supposedly Trump will "just let him do his job". He actually RAN on that bullshit in 2016.

Here is how REALITY worked out:

In the speech, Trump rattled off Chicago crime statistics and claimed that Johnson puts the needs of people living in the U.S. illegally above those of law-abiding residents of Chicago. “Those are his values and frankly those values to me are a disgrace,” Trump said. “I want Eddie Johnson to change his values and to change them fast.”

During the conference, Trump signed an executive order creating a presidential commission on law enforcement to study issues like substance abuse, homelessness and mental illness. The president also announced that the Justice Department will begin a “surge” to crack down on violent crime in the United States, targeting gang members and drug traffickers in high-crime areas.

Johnson, meanwhile, is under internal investigation after he was found sleeping in a city-owned vehicle earlier this month. Lightfoot said Johnson, who called for the investigation, told her he had “a couple of drinks with dinner” before he fell asleep at a stop sign while driving home. Johnson blamed the episode on a change in his blood pressure medication.

And thats how the clown show goes - laughable, ignorant statements and promises followed by incompetent winging-it, then messy reality and moving on to some other stream-of-consciousness clown show on something else Trump happens to have gotten into his ear.

I guess you didn't realize you focused the harsh light of ineptitude and incompetence on mayor Johnson.

It would be neat if we could at least wait for the smoke to clear, literally, before we start calling people "scum" for political advantage.
Oh, finally there is an adult on the forum that we can have a quality discussion with. I am surprised you haven't been offered more time on The View.

The (tiny) silver lining for this awful ******* disaster is that some important people have been profoundly affected by this. Cities in North Carolina wiped off the ******* map don't matter because those people just aren't important enough.
You really do care - don't you? Who are the important people? You should run for office in some black city - you are a sure shoe-in. You know how to classify people, and then, I'll bet you know how to deny that you are classifying people. Straight up American politician.

It looks like this time, this one is going to trigger some pretty deep investigations on government, priorities, weaknesses and administrative holes. If the elected "leaders" there did **** up, then hopefully there will be hell to pay AND some REAL changes will be made.
Maybe this time you will finally realize that that is not going to happen, because the checks and balances do not work for a simple three-branch government model. Have you figured out why Trump is not in jail, yet?

Has California's priorities gone completely out of whack? My guess would definitely be yes, but we need a thorough audit of EVERYTHING once this is over. And then serious discussions about priorities and preparedness. Like normal adults used to be able to do.
Genius, what you do not understand is that has never been so. You are imagining that, because dumb ***** before you said the same thing to move things along. It is not true. It is not that difficult to realize that the almighty White Man has not yet figured out how to organize the deliberation of issues, otherwise we would not be entertaining thoughts of the totalitarian defeat of the other political party. And believe me, Black people are not even going to try to solve the ******* problem. Just like you they just want to talk a bunch of shit and let their race baiters protect them.

149 black ex-Obama staffers promise to fix America

You say that shit without fact-checking it because it makes you feel like you are so ******* mature and reasonable.

It's a goddamn shame that politics has to ******* poison every last goddamn thing now.

You sound like you are ready to make a difference!
