What does what I say in regular political discussions have to do with attempting to politicize things like this at every opportunity?

I see you people going at it, and you all seem to act like it's just a game. Score the most points. Point the most fingers. Generalize the most people on the actions of a ridiculously small few.

I mean come on, listen to you. "Based upon a belief of hatred." - Please, point out where I have ever said anything remotely as dumb as you have just said.

I insult people because I think their political views are dumb typically and foolish. Not because I think they are evil and filled with hate. Some people are the exception, and there are a few exceptions on this board that I am not shy in declaring(bigrebnc is a big one), but for the most part I am never out there defining people in the way you are right now.

I agree 100%, However had you been on this board longer you would know that any time anyone does something like a mass killing, or what ever. The left wing Posters on this Board scream to high heaven if they can find even the slightest evidence the guy might have been right of center. But when we have a guy with a Manifesto that clearly shows he is a lefty starts doing it. Those same lefties line up to tell us it does not matter what his Politics are.

Also... left or right, it doesn't ******* matter. You're always going to have killers on the left and killers on the right, that do not directly or even indirectly have any relation to other individuals in the same political spectrum. Attack the granular elements, not try to try every which way to match your debate opponents on a message board or unseen opponents just living life to some psycho who killed people.

You miss the point entirely. Left or right doesn't ******* matter. It will be a very rare case for something like that to truly, truly matter. All other situations it's entirely superficial to make comparisons of the deranged and murderous to law abiding peaceful citizens who simply may share a ******* political hemisphere with the dude.

I share a political leaning with Stalin. That doesn't ******* mean I will ever be like him or be able to be compared to him with any standing. Just as Stalin was to the left, the Anti-Stalinist left are starkly opposed.

People view that left/right divide as some easy distinguishing mark they can apply to the character of an individual. But it doesn't work that way.
