Or any other LE situation. I'm not seeing it, one might oppose any decision or action by a gov't agency, scream and holler all you want from the sidewalk. Challenge it in a court of law, that is what the courts there for, to limit whatever you believe the gov't is doing. BUT - doing anything that interferes with what ICE or any other agency is doing is a federal crime and you can get arrested for doing that, and rightly so. Your freedom of speech doesn't allow you to impede an ICE operation like Ms Good was doing.

We can talk about whether or not she should have been shot, but that isn't the point of this debate. It is not okay to do what she did, and it is not okay for Mayor Frey and Governor Walt to use inflammatory rhetoric to encourage unlawful behavior and they should be held accountable IMHO for their part in all of this. ***** about ICE and their policies all you want, but do not tell people to break the law. Any law. I would posit that if Mayor Frey has allowed and even required local police to keep the ICE operation safe for everybody that Renee Good would be alive today. So, a number of bad decisions were likely made on that day and the days leading up to the shooting. In my view, Frey and Walz were a part of the problem.

If you don't care about your worthless life, then yes.

Send some of that advice to the Ayatollah his people are also impeding on the operations of law enforcement

The two situations are not comparable. The Iranian people cannot freely vote for who they want to run their government because any candidate must be approved by said government, specifically a council of Mullahs.

The laws ICE is enforcing have been passed by congress, and our congress has free elections to choose who sits in it.

I want to see if Augustine can play in the deep end of the pool, where the rules require you to be civil.

It's super comparable. Iranians are overthrowing the type of government that MAGA is trying to install here.

Not even close.

Spare me the whole "They want a Theocracy" thing. The only people who seem to like single party rule are Democrats, particularly at the State and City levels.

That's weird all the most impoverished states with the highest homicide rates have all been under the exclusive single party control of Republicans for decades

And a lot of that homicide happens in the few Blue cities in those States.

Reminder, this is for targeted debate, so stop deflecting. Lets see if you can actually play by the rules.

Obstruction of justice is against the law. If people wish to protest, it is fine, if it is peaceful however obstruction of Justice, blocking or trying to detain LE is wrong.

Protesting is America, but getting arrested for protesting is a risk, but when you obstruct Justice, then there is a problem and it can tragically end in death.

If they want to actually obstruct, they have to do it as in the past. You sit down, you block, and you get arrested. You go through the process, and then go back out and do it again. You didn't see the civil rights protesters screaming and whining and trying to "de-arrest" those performing actual civil disobedience.

The Constitution doesn't specify a right to "protest" other than to participate in elections. It does protect freedom of speech and assembly but those are subject to reasonable limitations, such as time, place and public safety. Violating these limitations is a criminal act which should be prosecuted.

These ‘protesters’ are not grass roots. They are paid to riot. If Walz would rescind his State’s sanctuary status and cooperate with ICE none of this would have happened because local law enforcement would have detained these criminals and ICE would not have to send in troops to find them among the populace.

What investigation was being conducted OP?

What investigation was being conducted OP?

Where did I mention an investigation?

You are playing at semantics and dodging the issue/question, which namely is it okay to impede an OPERATION? Learn to read, idiot. WTF do you think they were doing in Minneapolis?

So, based on the lack of response from the Left that made any sense at all, impeding an ICE operation is not okay, but some progressive liberals do it anyway because they are above the law and well, -> Trump. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that lawbreakers will support other lawbreakers. This America today folks, going right down the drain.
