I still cant imagine how hard nosed real world people like Cruz and Trump are still fighting each other when they are the closest to each other on the issues of any two candidates that ran for POTUS this cycle.
After next week it will be mathematically impossible for Cruz to win in the first round of voting. If he persists in fighting Trump he better be certain that all those Cruz stealth candidates are really CRUZ stealthers and not just party establishment stealthers.
Ingraham: Cruz’s ‘Come-to-Jesus Moment’ at Hand
Ingraham told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday that Cruz risks losing any leverage he has and dividing the party of he continues the nomination fight beyond the point at which he can pass Trump in votes and delegates.
INGRAHAM: But unless something really wacky happens over the next, you know, four to six weeks, (Trump is) going to go into that convention with the most delegates, and the most votes. And tonight’s exit poll showed that 70 percent of New Yorkers said that the person with the most delegates, the most votes should become the nominee. So the only question after tonight … is how far will the Republican Establishment go to kill off this guy who is the most popular of all the other candidates? … Meanwhile, Sean, we’re hearing about Trump staffers being blacklisted if they ever try to work again. Now, who has the bad tone now? Is it Trump? Or is it the GOP Establishment that seems like it’s pulling out every stop to try to stop him from getting this nomination. I think that’s the real question.
HANNITY: New York voters, 70 percent of them, said that person who has the most votes, the most delegates, won the most states, they should get the nomination. But Mitch McConnell — and it was 60 percent, interestingly, in Wisconsin, and Donald Trump did not win in Wisconsin, but still the people there said the same. Mitch McConnell said when we get a nominee in 1,237, he’ll actually be the candidate. If not, there’ll be a second ballot and I want delegates to pick a candidate who can win. And when you add those comments to Mitt Romney’s comments to Karl Rove’s comments, prominent people within the GOP, doesn’t it sound like they want the white knight candidate and they want to defy the will of the voters and disenfranchise them?
We need a new opposition party to the Democrats who can win, not these GOP Establishment clowns whose only skill seems to be finding new ways to lose elections and fuck over the rest of America while they are at it.
