It's really sad and pathetic that this Congress seems to only want to stop any sort of progress in this country and they are willing to damage the country's economy rather than do anything at all that might appear to be helping the President. I would have to say no. Whatever platform a politician ran on to get the votes of the American people is under no obigation to due what they promised. That is probaly one reason for the low approval rating in Congress.
