Oh bull loony. Everything, even some things the GOP once supported, are attacked by the GOP and the far right 'conservative' fringe when proposed by the Obama Administration.
Your post was so disingenuous I'm almost compelled to attack you and not your argument.
Of course the facts - events of the past four and one half years - are not in your corner. You've embarrassed yourself this time.
What your side is asking for is the real "bull loony" (is that even a phrase???). This is a TWO party system, and yes the two parties disagree on things. For some reason you expect the GOP, when it controls a house of congress (and prevents a supermajority in the other) to just meekly roll on its back when asked by the democrats to pass something.
When people start using generalizations like "is congress working for the american people" they are going for soundbites, and gotcha quotes, not any real substantive legislation.
Tell me, what legislation is causing this issue? Or does all you side have is generalizations?
Bull loony is my way to suggest the bullshit you posted was something only a lunatic would support.
We have had a two party system since the days of Jefferson and Hamilton. Most times the two parties have worked together in doing the work for the people. That all changed with the tactics of Newt Gingrich. The GOP not only moved far far right it has forgotten that compromise is necessary for a democracy to succeed.
The only agenda the GOP has is to gain power by any means, if that means voter suppression, so be it. If that means patronizing the Latino voters, so be it. The GOP will nominate a Latino, likely a women Latino, as VP in the summer of 2016. Not because they want to, not because they respect women or Latinos, but because they want power and the perks which come with it.
