Is anyone else thinking this?

Answer the question!
Don't just deflect to "whatever your fuhrer said." I already KNOW what that asshat has said.
How SPECIFICALLY are Trump's policies going to create jobs and raise wages?
You sound like one of those idiots in the rust belt who believed Trump back in 2016 when he promised them he was going to bring back their factory jobs and their coal mining jobs.
Of course he didn't. He lied through his teeth.
So then the idiots voted for him AGAIN in 2024.
Just can't fix stupid.

The Democratic Party has so strongly opposed Trump to the point that if his use of tariffs proves successful, it could reshape the political landscape. If it boosts the economy, Democrats will likely struggle to win the White House for the next 20 years.

No idea. Too many things at play.

shidder slide.webp

Dems will scream and argue that winning sucks and we should go back to loser Dem policies.

JP Moran Raises Recession Risk To 65%.

A global recession is more likely to happen than not this year, thanks to Wednesday's tariff broadside from the U.S.
That's the opinion of JPMorgan analysts who raised their forecast to 60% Thursday. That's up from 40% before President Trump's Wednesday afternoon announcements sent markets tumbling.

The administration's plans will likely amount to a 20 percentage point increase in U.S. tariff rates, the firm said. The last increase that large, in 1968, was followed by recession, economists led by Bruce Kasman said.

Analysts said retaliatory tariffs by other countries, weakening business sentiment in the U.S. and supply chain disruptions will make things worse. Jeep maker Stellantis has already halted production at its auto assembly factories in Mexico and Canada.

A scenario where the U.S. enters a recession, but the rest of the world is spared is also possible, the firm said, but less likely.

The last time a political party managed two presidents in a row was Reagan and Bush for 12 years in the 1980 and early 1990s.

They managed two presidents together with Nixon and Ford as well, but that was 8 years and for very different reasons than the country liking the Republican Party.

Kennedy and Johnson were similar, though this time an assassination led to two presidents from the same party.

Before than it was FDR and Truman with 20 years.

It simply doesn't happen. People will get fed up with either party, no matter what they do. The Dems had a great economy under Biden, they switched.

Works how though? We could do all kinds of things that temporarily boost the economy, yet violate basic principles of individual rights and the free market. That's how the Chinese roll. I won't be giving anyone credit for that.
Given their rhetoric, there's only one way to say that it "worked" -- that is, that this strategy is successful in bringing manufacturing back to America and making us a/the global manufacturing hub. The chances of that happening are small because global macroeconomics are far too uneven. But I learned a long time ago not to make predictions on this kind of thing.

I think it's more likely that he'll claim "victory" if he's only able to get tariffs decreased, after dragging us through a shitty period of stagflation. Claiming "victory" in that case would be intellectually dishonest, but that's just what he is, what they are.

And regarding free markets or individual rights, Trump doesn't give a shit. He has no concept of those kinds of things. He just wants adoration and revenge.

I will make sure to save this post. I have a feeling that if/when it turns out well, you anti-Trumpers will have a boat load of excuses as to how he got lucky or some other nonsense.
I've saved it too, because you mindless Trumpsters constantly say that I'm a leftist. I bookmarked it when I posted it.

I'll shove it down the throat of a Trumpster, and the Trumpster will call it fake news or ignore it or just run, as usual.

Happens all the time. Like the link in my sig that lists off my actual positions on the issues. I get the same response.

I know the game here.

FACT: they did this same crying game last time he renegotiated trade deals and it was very successful, then Biden resorted back to letting countries fleece our manufacturing and our trades went back to bad deficits and lopsided unfair trade.

Europe has been taking advantage of the US for years. They are like children living in our basement. Yes, we care for them, but at some point they have to start paying their own way instead of buying more video games.

Ohhhh….everyone is picking on us
No Fair!

We are the wealthiest nation on earth with the strongest economy
Why is Trump fucking with it?

But are you saying Democrats don't know the difference between a male and a trans male? Or a female vs a trans female?

Name names, of these Democrats that you speak of....????

That would nigh on impossible, mainly because he lied.

Can you explain why it has got to be done? Can you tell me what you see as the positive upside? Can you realistically tell me how long this will take?

Can you tell me after all our prices go up from the trump tariffs we have to pay, will the consumer prices ever go back down if you achieve your so called positives to it all?

I truly don't understand you're position?
Trump is doing nothing he didn't say he was going to do. You're not used to that.

The time to argue about Tariffs, DOGE, rooting out corruption, deporting criminal illegals, etc, etc, ad nauseam, is over.

The fact is, these things are done, getting done or will get done. dimocrap attemtpts to use Lawfare to try to stop OMB will only deepen wounds that already exist and lead to a weakening of our Judiciary. Which is fine by me. I believe the Judiciairy to be the most corrupt branch of goobermint.

Unfortunately, it is also a necessary evil in a functioning Republic. Emphasis on 'evil'.

The reason you don't understand my (our) position is simple -- You don't pay attention. You don't listen to what the 'other half' is saying. It doesn't interest you. Don't know why, don't care. But I speak the truth and you know it.

Maybe you should start paying attention to what Republicans and other Patriots are saying because we are steering the country right now and I expect we will continue to for another 20+ years or until the dimocrap party wakes up. :auiqs.jpg:

For 75 years, Republicans have had to vote for Republicans simply because "At least he's not a dem". With one exception -- Reagan.

Until now.

When the dust settle, when all the empty rhetoric dies down, when dimocrap scum politicians crawl back into their holes and go back to their regular jobs as pimps and con men, you just might find you live in a better America.

And a better America is a Better World
