I'm not a mod, but I deleted it any way.Are you a mod if you are really delete it please thanks
Best way to get a thread closed (routinely, it seems) is to post an Op with a link/source that OKTexas doesn't personally agree with politically if he's around at the time
At least from this casual observer's perspective.
Any old excuse will do. "you wrote 'today is Wednesday' but you didn't provide enough evidence for that"
They even did one of Mortimer's.... I mean.... the guy only posts nonsense. To be done in that manner is ridiculous.Basically that's what appears to be going on when he arbitrarily invokes that whole ''THREAD CLOSED, LINK DOES NOT SUPPOR CLAIMS OF FACT IN THE OP" gambit.
I think he's operating under the radar and outside of any mod oversight and betting on other mods not placing forth the effort to check the closed threads.
It's really the only way he can keep getting away with it, in my view.
I've told him about those kinds of no good, dirty, rotten, filthy, stinking, under-handed tactics in private before, but he don't care.
Ah well. I was just reminded of all of that whe nI'd flipped through and notice danother one closed in that same arbitrary manner right before I clicked in this thread, so was still fresh on my mind.
I, for one, loathe that type of weaselry.
