The US is the ONLY country that forever bleats on about it's constitution. Why? God only knows

Simple answer. The USA is the only country whose constitution for governance is written being part and parcel of the PEOPLE rather than the other way around.

As much as some in government hate to think of it and as much as you might despise, our government functions at OUR pleasure, not the other way around.

That is the difference between true citizenship and serfdom.
